There are two very different kinds of wait times you’ll experience when you plan for and make a trip to Walt Disney World:

1. Posted Wait Times – This is the number you’ll see on a sign at the entrance to an attraction’s queue, or on a lollipop sign at the end of a line of people, or on a sandwich board, or the MDE app … you get the idea. They’re everywhere. They don’t necessarily always agree, but they all come from Disney.
2. Actual Wait Times – This is the amount of time you’ll actually be standing in line waiting for an attraction.
